What Gulf Coast Jam Reminded Us About This Brand - The Mad Hatter Company

Gulf Coast Jam was honestly one of our favorite events we’ve ever been a part of. We loved being there as a sponsor/vendor, and it felt like the perfect environment for our brand. The crowd, the music, the energy, and the overall atmosphere made it such a fun and refreshing weekend.

One of the biggest things for us was getting to connect with people in person. Our booth was constantly full and really became more than just a place to shop — it turned into a hangout spot. We had people from all over stop by to shop, take pictures, talk with us, and spend time at the booth.

We also had a lot of people tell us they had seen us online but were skeptical because they didn’t know exactly what they would get. Once they saw the products in person, felt the quality, and tried things on, a lot of them became customers. That was huge for us and really showed the value of events like this.

We also loved being able to bring our community into the weekend. We gave away tickets leading up to the festival, brought customers out to join us, and went live from the event so people who couldn’t be there could still experience the energy and connect with us in real time.

This was also a big company event for us. We brought over 15 people from our team, and our crew worked extremely hard with two teams working 12-hour days. They kept the booth energy high, helped customers, and made the whole experience special.

For us, Gulf Coast Jam was more than just a sales event. It gave us the chance to build real relationships, meet existing customers face-to-face, make a ton of new friends and customers, and create a real community moment around the brand.

We captured a lot of content from the weekend, and Sarah will be adding it to the drive for you guys to use however you need. We should have a good mix of booth content, customer moments, product shots, live/event content, and overall event atmosphere.

Overall, we’re just really grateful we got to be part of it. We would absolutely love to come back every year and continue growing the partnership. We’re also planning to be at the St. Pete Music Festival in November and the Jekyll Island Fish & Grits Festival in the fall, and we’re excited to keep showing up in person and building these connections through events.
