Vintage Cat Diesel Power 1970's

This is the oldest Cat Diesel Power patch we have. The REG'D itself shows the age. This 'registered' mark was later replaced by the copyright symbol. Our rare stocks of this patch came from London Ontario in Canada where Grant Emblem used to operate a huge embroidery company. There they made Grant and Voyager emblems and they were frequently engaged to produce patches for the Lemans Racing Products Company in Wisconsin, itself a famous company whose patches are also highly prized today. This patch can be matched with any color cap, because back in the day that's just the way it went - color coordinating was an effort sometimes to make things clash. So clash this one with whatever floats your boat.
